STROLLING THROUGH THE ERAS

“What can I tell about this drawing?
First of all, what pushed me to draw this topic? I am keen on studying History and so I wanted to apply this knowledge to my cartoon, being inspired by the ‘chaotic’ cartoon strips by Guillermo Mordillo, an amazing Argentinian cartoonist.
In fact, the scene in this cartoon is very chaotic as well... I mean, it doesn’t follow a chronological order. I preferred this kind of approach, because it allowed me to create a drawing with a very funny and humorous effect, as the viewer tries to linger and analyse every single character and situation that I have delineated.
This artwork surely summarises my artistic style that is to create art that draws the viewer's attention and make them smile. For that purpose I use vivid, bright colours and I like representing lots of details, from the biggest to the smallest ones.”
