Artist Directory: Conceptual

Image
Frederick Hubble enquiries@thearchesproject.org I am a freelance artist, currently based in Birmingham. Studying Fine Art at Birmingham Institute of Art and Design.  Working through multiple disciplines including; Painting, Photography, Video, Sculpture and Installation. My work surrounds the concept of hopelessness and its counterpart, hopefulness. For myself the content of conceptual art has become sterile, through its emotional dryness and lack of empathy for the human self. In my work I seek to question these ideas through employing ideas of the aura-tic or the "soul" of the artist in my work, through the form of small gestures or pensive contemplations. artistdirectoryapplicationform
